1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website located at erusconsulting.com and its related pages (the “Site”), operated by Erus Consulting LLC (“Erus Consulting,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. About the Site
The Site provides information about Erus Consulting’s cybersecurity and AI strategy consulting services, including virtual CISO (vCISO) advisory work. Content on the Site is provided for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute professional, legal, financial, or security advice, and it does not create a consulting relationship. A consulting engagement begins only through a separate, signed agreement.
3. Use of the Site
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict the use of the Site by, any third party. You agree not to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or any connected systems.
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Site, including through malware, denial-of-service attempts, or automated scraping that burdens the infrastructure.
- Use the Site to transmit unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable material.
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when submitting information through the Site.
4. Scheduling and Third-Party Services
The Site may direct you to third-party services to schedule a consultation or discovery call, including Microsoft Bookings. When you follow such a link, you leave the Site and any information you provide is governed by the third party’s own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for the content, terms, or data practices of third-party services.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, the “Erus Consulting” name, and the tagline “Know. Manage. Enable.” — is the property of Erus Consulting LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view and print Site content for your own personal, non-commercial reference. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from Site content without our prior written consent.
6. Submissions
If you submit information to us through the Site — for example, through a contact form — you represent that the information is accurate and that you have the right to provide it. Our handling of information you submit is described in our Privacy Policy. We may use feedback or suggestions you send us without obligation to you.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Erus Consulting LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. 8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Erus Consulting LLC and its members, officers, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Site, whether based in contract, tort, or any other legal theory, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100).
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Erus Consulting LLC and its members, officers, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Site or your violation of these Terms.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Illinois.
